About Nan Hotpot
No 1 famous Hot pot in the world
Located at 36-36 Prince St #106, Flushing, NY 11354, Nan Hotpot operates as a hot pot serving Flushing in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.
No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. You can reach Nan Hotpot at (718) 358-7777; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.
Customers rate it 4.8 out of 5 on Google across 697 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded hot pot in Flushing.
Flushing is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Flushing peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Second time coming here. One of my favorite hotpot in Flushing. It is all you can eat, reasonably priced. The meat is good quality and the vegetables are also fresh and crispy. We enjoyed their have Wagyu beef and squid squeezers. We got the beef tallow broth and tomato, very flavorful with a good amount of spice. Thereβs an all you can eat vegetable, mushroom etc bar and they have a huge sauce selection which includes some free food like shrimp crackers, fries and dessert items. The ambiance is traditional, warm and classy. Service was extra friendly and fast. Good for events, or just to eat with friends and family. We throughly enjoyed our delicious meal and will be back when winter comes around again. PS they have great fried dough /w condensed milk.

Nan Hotpot recently transitioned from an Γ la carte format to AYCE, and while the foundation is still there, the overall experience feels a bit different. The space remains one of its strong points. It is clean, well maintained, and comfortable, making it easy to settle in for a longer meal. I chose the Guizhou hot and sour soup base, which comes from Southwest China, specifically Guizhou cuisine, known for its layered sour and spicy profile. Traditionally, this style of broth is built using fermented chili paste, pickled vegetables, garlic, ginger, and sometimes tomato, creating a natural acidity that stimulates appetite and balances richness. The version here was tangy and warming with a gentle heat, though slightly lighter and less complex than more traditional regional versions. It is also worth noting that the soup base is not included in the AYCE price and costs around 9.99 to 11 depending on the selection, which does affect the overall value. Hotpot itself has a long history centered around communal dining, where thinly sliced meats and fresh vegetables are cooked in broth, emphasizing balance rather than any single standout ingredient.
